Y Incision Autopsy Scar - Short
This Y incision prosthetic is a smaller version of the full sized one, which may work better on women and smaller adults or times where you don’t need to see the full length. It measures approx 9 inches down the vertical incision and the shorter incisions are approx 6 inches.
These prosthetic appliances are encapsulated silicone, they are made from a soft platinum silicone and encapsulated in Baldiez. (dissolve with Acetone)
They are available in three skin tones; fair, medium or dark. If you’re not sure which will work best, I’d recommend going a shade lighter and colouring up. It’s much harder to lighten a prosthetic that is too dark.
Please note encapsulated silicone appliances are not reusable.
These prosthetics do not come with any glues/paints/blood - you can find everything you need to apply and remove them at any good professional makeup shop.
